“Eric was the oldest of my three children and the bravest person I will ever know as he fought Hodgkin's Lymphoma. In 2014, he participated in the LLS Man & Woman of the Year campaign while isolated at the Bone Marrow Transplant unit at the University of Minnesota Hospital. He and his team – Time2Win – raised over $64,000. Towards the end of his life, Eric texted his friends,
“We have to find a cure for cancer. We have to. Let’s never stop trying.”
